The information on this website (stayinhonnavar.com) is provided by StayInHonnavar, a family-run homestay and backwater boating business in Honnavar, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, operated by [your registered / proprietor name]. It is shared in good faith and for general information about our stays and experiences only.
While we try to keep the information accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy or reliability of anything on the site. Any reliance you place on this information is strictly at your own risk.
2. Bookings, prices & availability
Room types, boating options, inclusions, rates and availability shown on this site are indicative and may change at any time without notice. Nothing on the website is a binding offer.
A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed the details with you directly (for example over WhatsApp or phone) and acknowledged your booking. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
3. Boating & water activities
Our backwater boat rides and any related water-based or outdoor activities are carried out near and on the Sharavati river. These activities carry inherent risks. By taking part, you acknowledge and accept those risks and participate at your own risk.
For everyone's safety, guests agree to:
- Follow all instructions given by our boat operator and staff at all times.
- Wear the safety equipment provided (such as life jackets) for the entire duration of the ride.
- Ensure that children are supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, on and near the water.
- Inform us in advance of any condition (for example a medical condition, pregnancy, or inability to swim) that may affect safe participation.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage arising from a guest's failure to follow safety instructions, a guest's own actions or negligence, or an undisclosed health condition.
4. Weather & natural conditions
Coastal and river conditions — including tides, water levels, wind, rain and the monsoon — can change quickly and may affect, delay, shorten or require the cancellation of a boat ride or activity. Decisions about whether it is safe to operate are made at our discretion, always with guest safety first.
We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by changes, rescheduling or cancellations due to weather, natural conditions, or other events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Where a confirmed activity cannot go ahead for safety reasons, we will do our best to reschedule it with you.
5. Health & personal responsibility
Guests are responsible for judging their own fitness to take part in any activity and for declaring any relevant health conditions before participating. Guests are also responsible for the safety and supervision of any minors in their group, and for the security of their own personal belongings during their stay or activity.
6. Accuracy of information & photos
We aim to describe our homestays, rooms, views and experiences as accurately as possible, and photographs are intended to give a fair impression. However, actual rooms, surroundings, views and conditions may vary, and images are indicative rather than a guarantee of any specific feature.
